I'm Janet -
About Section Text Change I am a Colorado native living in Utah who loves a good hike, connecting with other people, and solving problems. With 7+ years of experience building and maintaining visual identities, designing for print and digital platforms, and 4+ years of web design, I have become skillful at wearing many hats and seamlessly transitioning between projects.
When I’m not designing, I love watching movies, brushing up on my Spanish (thanks to my Colombian roots!), drawing on my iPad, and crocheting.
Digital Art
I have been drawing on my iPad since 2019. I enjoy creating bird page journal entires where I get to draw and learn about different birds, their habitats, and behaviors. I also really love drawing people.
Crocheting
Crochet has been a part of my life on and off since I was a kid, but it became a frequent hobby in 2023. I have made things like hand warmers and hats, but my favorite things to make are animals that match the season I'm in.
Hiking
Living in both Colorado and Utah has given me many opportunities to explore nature. One of my favorite hikes is the 3 Sisters Hike in Brighton, Utah. It’s a great place to see different bird species, catch a look a moose, and get an amazing view of the lakes surrounded by green mountains.
Movies & TV Shows
Many of my favorite movies and tv shows have a common theme: characters confronting their misconceptions about others and forming unlikely friendships. It’s a definite plus if there’s comedy involved!
